To accomplish the mission or missions in your life you have to find your true self.
We all have one (or several).
Call it also purpose. You certainly have one. You must find it. If you have or when you do, you have freedom.
And how do we do that?
Your true self is the you who feel most comfortable.
The real you feels its thoughts like an old shoe.
The real you has peace of heart. The real you in confident in consternation.
The real you is grounded (and elevated) in God.
The real you has a daily interchange (and even all-day interchange) with Jesus.
The real you is unafraid of anything but sin.
The real you gravitates to service.
“ServGod” is a license plate we’ve seen.
The real “you” does not struggle with what to do next.
The real you connects with people who help us maintain the correct view of ourselves.
The real you doesn’t gossip. It doesn’t envy. It doesn’t wish less than the best.
The real you forgives.
In 2001 an alleged seer in Syria received these words from Jesus: “‘My children: Strive to see yourselves as you truly are, and to see the extent of your faithfulness in achieving the unity of heart among yourselves.Adorn yourself with patience and wisdom.”
Have you found your “self” yet?
The real you doesn’t shift with the landscape.
The real you has a way to love in all circumstances.
Only when you are with truth are you who you really are. Self-truth is oneness with God.
