There it was, just days ago, a photo in the Federalist, a conservative secular periodical, this photo:
Take a close look at it.
Explained the article: “You may have seen the stunning viral film called ‘EctoLife’ recently. With a professional voiceover and a detailed CGI tour of the baby-growing facility, you might think the enterprise of growing designer babies outside a mother’s womb is here.
“While it is not yet reality, scientists have been making progress on the technology in recent years. Artificial wombs in themselves could save premature babies. Rather than promote that unequivocal good, however, the vision of ‘EctoLife’ is a tangle of concepts foreseen in famous dystopian science fiction stories like Brave New World and ‘Gattaca,’ made to seem like a positive revolution in care and convenience.”
But really nothing of the sort — rather, man meddling with Creation.
Now pivot to the world of prophecy, and in this case, Sondra Abrahams of Sulphur, Louisiana, who had a near-death experience in 1970 during which Jesus allegedly showed her glimpses of the future.
“After [the sin of abortion] He showed me euthanasia and said many would die in hospitals and nursing homes.
“Then He showed me clear tanks with babies in them that all looked alike and they were attached to umbilical cords, but there were no wombs.
“Their eyes were blank. Jesus said ‘Man will try to create life and they will destroy many. They cannot create life because only My Father can create and destroy life. Only He can put the soul into the body.’”
Now look again at that photo.
“Synthetic wombs and genetic engineering,” said the Federalist, “will soon become serious matters of public policy.”
It adds: “Finally, the voiceover reveals the crown jewel of the EctoLife experience: designer babies. All EctoLife embryos are carefully selected to avoid genetic abnormalities (and the unselected destroyed, of course), but with the ‘Elite Package,’ commissioners of the new human will be offered ‘the opportunity to genetically engineer the embryo.’”
Back to Abrahams: “The one thing God told me was that when we tried to become God that He would come down on us.
“You noticed when all this cloning was announced, the weather got horrible everywhere? That’s God saying He’s still in control. The other thing I was shown was a war. And it won’t be like any kind of war we’ve ever had before; it’s going to be here on our land too. It won’t just be a war of guns and planes but nuclear, and every little nation that has a nuclear weapon will get in on it. I’ve seen it. He showed it to me. Fires out of the sky, people burning, death everywhere. I can still even smell the smoke. I’ve never talked about it because I wanted to keep the focus on love. Peace can happen, it can happen, but we have to pray.
“The nuclear war, when I saw it — it’s that, if they do something crazy, China will join North Korea. Don’t think they won’t. Jesus said, ‘All will be lost, few will remain, if they don’t come back to My Father.'”
