Let’s consider the possibility: Could we soon witness a recurrence of the “Great Sign” of Fatima, or an event reminiscent of it?
This is what is asked (and many other questions) in the new book, Future Events, which has northern lights on its cover.
This is asked because according to Sister Maria Lucia of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart (the last Fatima seer to die), that great sign was a display of the aurora borealis or “northern lights” in 1938. And although a geomagnetic storm forecast for last weekend didn’t materialize, we seem now to be entering another cycle of heightening geomagnetic storminess.
The Fatima sign, which was part of the secret prophecies in 1917, ended up presaging World War Two, as Lucia and the two others were told it would. It was the most blatant display of the “northern lights” in Europe since 1709 (and in America since 1888).
The aurora that was predicted to occur Sunday had been forecast to be the most significant since 2017. “Days after parts of the world were impacted by the most significant solar flare in six years, NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center now warns the earth could be in store for more geomagnetic impacts, which includes a display of the Northern Lights,” said a report.
Experts have observed multiple coronal mass ejections from the Sun, which have sent particles of plasma hurling toward earth.
Will there be a powerful one in the near future? Is the sun again cranking up?
A week ago, another emission from the sun not only caused a small display of the northern lights but interrupted radio signals (as did the one in 1938).
“A NASA telescope has captured the biggest solar flare in years, which temporarily knocked out radio communication on earth,” reported Associated Press. “The sun spit out the huge flare along with a massive radio burst on Thursday, causing two hours of radio interference in parts of the U.S. and other sunlit parts of the world. Scientists at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said it was the biggest flare since 2017, and the radio burst was extensive, affecting even the higher frequencies.”
Let us calculate: 1938 minus 1888 was fifty years, and minus 1709 was 229.
It is now eighty-five years since the Fatima sign.
Says Wikipedia of that event: “This magnificent display of lights was experienced across the world, as reported in different news archives. The lights sent some into panic, as many were awestruck, astonished by the rarity of the experience. Canada experienced the most vivid auroral displays on the nights of January 24–26. In the Netherlands people were awaiting the imminent birth of Princess Juliana’s baby Princess Beatrix who was eventually born on 31 January 1938: the Dutch considered the aurora as a lucky omen. In Salzburg, Austria, some residents called on the fire department as they believed something was on fire. Alarm bells were rung into a frenzy that night and the fire departments were constantly sounding new alarms trying to calm the citizens. The loud multitude of ringing further caused panic, causing some residents to flee to more rural areas. The same fright was seen in London where many also believed whole streets were on fire, even the guards of Windsor Castle summoned the fire brigade to put out the said “fire”. In Switzerland, the snow-covered peaks of the Swiss Alps were glowing bright and reflecting some of the auroral rays causing a reflective disco effect.”
We didn’t see that Sunday.
But the solar activity may be just ramping up.
