You know the expression: “The grass is always greener on the other side.”
Think of how many times in your life that has pertained to you.
Far too frequently, we look at what more or better or bigger we could have or get or go, instead of taking stock and thanking God for His blessings.
It is all in God’s Plan.
And peace comes only when we accept what He has in store for us.
He has His reasons.
When we’re on the actual “other side” (Heaven), we’ll see the fullness of His designs for each of us and how they were perfect—how, no matter what they seemed or looked like on earth, they were set there for our enrichment and glory (in the hereafter).
Everything on this earth is passing. There is not a multi-billionaire who can buy his or her way out of mortality.
In a blink, it’s all gone—totally gone. No car, no matter the size, plows past the grave.
Physically, we’re left with only what we’re born with.
But if you want to really see green grass, that’s where it is: not “here,” but on the actual “other side.”
Those who nearly died have depicted tremendously consistent images of grass that emanates music, radiance, a green like no mundane green—none!—and even love.
The grass in God’s Place embraces you with Grace; melds with you. It is beyond glorious.
“The grass alone I could write a book on,” said one man who had a near-death experience. “A thousand pages. I felt my ‘feet’ touch the ground, but I felt the grass come up and join my toes. I felt a softening, a loving embrace. I started to feel the overwhelming love. It was like the grass was in existence to love me. I could actually hear music coming from it. It was crescendoing in a beautiful way.”
Eye has not seen–nor feet touched.
Indeed.
So on this earth: look not for the greenest grass but adopt what some have pronounced as an alternative saying:
“The grass is greenest where you water it.”
The most important things in life take the most diligence to attain.
