What does social media have to say when it comes to the supernatural?
Well, a lot more than just about anywhere and vastly more than used to be available to us via “mainstream media” (which all but negated or at least edited the miraculous out).
Here’s a fellow on Reddit:
“My story is about when we were in Cyprus, having landed and picked up a hire car. Coming down the motorway, we turned off the wrong junction and ended up completely lost. It was about two a.m. at that point and we needed to get to a particular house in a tiny village.
“We had no maps. We prayed for help, and as soon as we said Amen, a car pulled over the brow of the hill and stopped next to us.
“In perfect English the guy inside said, ‘How can I help you?’ We told him our predicament and where we wanted to go, and he knew exactly where the place was, directed us clearly, and we thanked him. Then he was gone, like… blink and gone, nowhere to be seen.”
Angels.
Such accounts are so numerous that the main astonishment is that anyone could not believe them.
On YouTube (which leads the way when it comes to tuning into the supernormal), an angel in a horrendous tornado:

There, a woman named Sherry Carter said: “On an extremely cold night in 1988 in Duncanville, Alabama, I loaded up my two babies to get emergency diapers along Highway 82 headed toward Tuscaloosa.
“I stopped at the Country Mart local mom-and-pop store right as they were about to close, bought the diapers, and hurriedly returned to my car.
“I noticed the lights went out quickly as soon as I left and everyone around knew that the owners lived somewhere out in the pitch-black, heavily wooded area behind their store.
“As I tried to start my car, much to my surprise, the battery would not turn over!
“I quickly ran back to the store and called for help but much to no avail. I ran out back but could see nothing in the darkness. I knew we were in a potentially life-or-death situation because hardly any cars were this far out at midnight. And temperatures were in the low-20’s!
“I was in the middle of nowhere and without heat for my children. I ran to the highway and saw nothing but total darkness in both directions. I walked back to my car and told my twenty-month-old daughter, Brandi, that we were going to pray for God to help us.
“I took my two-month-old son’s hand along with my daughter’s and took one last look around for any sign of help. I began to pray and seconds later I heard a knock on my window and there stood two men wearing hats and coats that reminded me of the 1940’s.
“The one knocking had the biggest smile and very white teeth. The other one stood quietly to the side behind him.
“I was so stunned, I was speechless! I wondered how they could have gotten there two seconds after I had just looked out my window; it was a bit of a walk from the highway to my car. I remember thinking I felt no fear but peace instead.
“As I slowly started to roll down my window, still speechless, the stranger said that they were sent to help me. He told me to release my hood button and then to immediately turn my key and that my car would start the first time. Keep in mind I never even told them I had car trouble. I simply did as he told me and my car started right up!
“As soon as he closed the hood, they vanished. My daughter said, ‘Angels mommy, angels,’ as she was looking towards the highway, but only she could see them.
“I jumped out of my car, calling for them, and ran as fast as I could towards the road. I returned knowing that a true miracle from God had just happened and I was still thanking God all the way of our eight-mile trip home! We had truly been saved by real life angels on that freezing cold night so many years ago.”

Meanwhile, the mail (for cautious discernment):
“The attached are photos were taken by a member of our Flame of Love prayer group during the eclipse on April 8. The deep blue of the cloudless sky prior to the event made us think of the Blessed Mother’s Mantle upon us. We live in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Our Sacred Heart of Jesus Church is in Troy, where this image was photographed. The next town of Westfield is where the Immaculate Heart of Mary Abbey is located (about five miles down the road) and another three miles from the Abbey, in the town of Lowell, are the Carmelite Nuns of Lowell and the St. Joseph Chapel. What are the chances that our three houses of worship embody the Holy Family?
“We are ready and waiting for the great ‘warning,’ Michael, and we all feel the powerful protection of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. We believe this was an unmistakable sign to us, and we feel an obligation to share it with others. Repent, and believe in the Gospel! Jesus, Mary and Jospeh…we love you…save souls! Theresa McAvinney, Westfield, Vermont.”
