Mexico City – Mexico (Monday, 04-30-2018, Gaudium Press ) After 100 years of the apparitions of Our Lady in Fatima, many expected some supernatural manifestation of the Mother of God that confirmed the previous warnings made in 1917 to the three little shepherds, Lucia, San Francisco and Santa Jacinta.
Not having the world given ears to the requests made then, it was to be expected something that shook the conscience of this sinful and sleepy humanity, that no warning from Heaven seems to be able to awaken.
And, if men do not care about the warnings coming from Above, God also seems to have turned his back on this world, letting events run by themselves, dragging contemporary civilization into an uncertain and unsuspicious future, in the middle of the convulsions of chaos, wars and violence.
Such a situation has led many souls to wonder in anguish if God had not abandoned the world to his own fate. More terrible than the death throes of contemporary chaos is, for those souls, that apparent silence of Providence absent from the course of events.
Meanwhile, God, true Lord of History, has his unfathomable designs and patiently waits for the most appropriate time to intervene. Sometimes it does it through natural phenomena and sometimes through supernatural phenomena. It is necessary, therefore, to be attentive to the signs of the times.
The inexplicable lachrymations of images of the Blessed Virgin and of San José that occurred in Costa Rica and Guatemala, may well be those signs of Providence?
It was so, recently, last April 25, at the House of Formation of the Heralds of the Gospel, in San José Pinula, in the vicinity of Guatemala City, at around 3:30 p.m., a young candidate of the institution he noted with surprise that abundant tears flowed from the virginal eyes of the Pilgrim MTA of Our Lady of Fatima.
Immediately he ran to call his fellow students and the superior of the house, who also found surprised the inexplicable phenomenon, whose supernatural origin no one doubted.
In itself, the fact is already completely extraordinary. And if it had stayed around, it would be enough to move the heart of any faithful. But the signs of heaven did not stop.
Also in Costa Rica
Also in San Jose, Costa Rica, in the house of the Heralds of the Gospel, the same phenomenon was repeated. A pilgrim image began to shed abundant tears.
The young man who first witnessed the phenomenon went to call his manager, telling him what happened. And he warned her that another image would also shed tears. And that in Guatemala the same event would happen equally.
Before the verification of the facts, they asked that young aspirant how he knew with such certainty what was happening. To which he replied that a very kind lady told him so.
An extraordinary lacrimation also occurred in a painting of the Mother of Good Counsel on April 26, the celebration of her liturgical feast, also in Costa Rica, in the house of the Heralds of the Gospel, and in Guatemala an image of St. Joseph poured copious tears.
In Spain a little image shed tears of blood
In Spain, it was a little image of Our Lady of Fatima, acquired in the Fatima Shrine, in Portugal, by a girl who frequented the formation programs of the female branch of the Heralds of the Gospel, who shed tears during the return trip of blood.
In total, there are already 11 images that shed tears in abundance.
The photos that are published here are more eloquent than any speech, so we left the perceptive reader with the interpretation of such an extraordinary and unique phenomenon in contemporary history. That an image shed tears, already in the past had been seen in many circumstances. But that 11 images shed tears almost simultaneously and within the same institution, is something really unprecedented.
New and more vehement warning to the world, on the eve of celebrating the 101 years of the apparitions of Fatima? But is not it also a sign of encouragement for those who place their hope in the Message of Fatima and in the promises of the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary?
God, manifesting himself through the images of his Blessed Mother and Saint Joseph, does not turn his back on the world, but he makes his footsteps in history more vehemently heard.
It is the Lord who approaches. Happy of those whom your Lord finds ready.
