Notes our friend and viewer Kenneth Heck: “The Ukrainian region has been overrun by different peoples, the Scythians, Huns, Hungarians, Khazars, etcetera throughout history. However, when it comes to the Vikings, the story is different.

Tricia Lyon of Methuen Massachusetts, writes: “In the many years I have been checking into your website I have never written though prompted to do so many times.

“I wanted to relay an experience I had — similar to the atheist doctor [in a near-death brush] hearing instructions on what to do [to save his life while drowning].
+
“In June of 2016 there was a massive fire in my condo complex. My unit, in a separate building, was immediately next door to the building that caught fire.
“It was a beautiful summer evening, a quiet Sunday night, I went to bed early, around 9 p.m. My windows were wide open to let the summer breeze in.
+
“After midnight I was awakened by a crackling sort of noise that I thought was rain. I opened my eyes and my bedroom (on the third floor of my townhouse unit) was filled with an orange glow.
+
“I bolted out of bed, looked out the window, and saw flames engulfing the building next door. I quickly ran to my cellphone — all fumbling and nervous — trying to call 911 at the same time thinking, I have got to get my neighbors out of this building (there were four units).
+
“A voice I did not hear audibly — but nonetheless heard in some sort of supernatural way — told me to be calm. I made the phone call to 911. My next thought was I needed to put something on as I couldn’t go out in my pajamas. I had been all flustered, not knowing which way to turn. The voice told me to put on the sundress I had on the banister on the second floor landing but first to make sure all the windows were closed shut.

“I rushed down the stairs, threw the dress on, and I was calling for my cat. The voice told me the cat would be fine. I was rushing toward the front door going down the stairs to the first floor landing and the voice said, ‘Don’t use the front door — it is too hot from the heat of the flames’ (it was a metal door).

“I looked toward the back door — the sliding glass door off the kitchen — and the voice said, ‘Use the door in the basement’ (this was the exit that was furthest away from the fire). By this time (it took just a couple of minutes) the fire department was there. The neighbors were exiting their homes and propane tanks from the units in the burning building were beginning to explode (had I exited from even the side door I could have been impacted by the explosion).

“The fire did not spread to my building; however, the intense heat melted the vinyl siding off of the house and cracked several windows. The firefighters doused my unit in water — which would have been extremely damaging had I left the windows opened.
+
“I believe it was the voice of my guardian angel that led me out of my home that night. I would not have had the wits about me to think to close the windows. My home did not have any smoke damage whatsoever nor did it have any damage other than the cracked windows and melted vinyl siding. I also believe it was the Sacred Heart of Jesus image I have in my home — hung on the wall by my front door. Jesus promises that He will bless every place in which an image of His Sacred Heart is exposed and honored.”
“Below is a picture after the fire: the fire was caused by carelessness — a cigarette butt thrown into the bark mulch from a front porch.”

Mark Borcherding of Denver, Colorado, in the seasonal swing of things, points out:
“The three kings that came to the birth of Jesus are symbolized by the three belt stars of the constellation Orion. Those three belt stars point to the brightest star in the sky named Sirius, [perhaps] the star of Bethlehem. The Hopi native elders said this about the star Sirius, ‘This is the star that controls the life of all beings. Its appearance completes the harmonious pattern, of the Creator, who ordained that man, should live in harmony, with all.
“The star Sirius was also called the ‘Morning Star,’ and Jesus said: “I am the Morning Star” in the Bible’s Apocalypse 22:16. At Christmas in Bethlehem, Sirius is the Evening Star and on the other side of the world, Sirius is the Morning Star in Mexico where Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared on December 22, 1531.”

And lastly, on the idea that the demonic could be behind certain AI holy art (some of which have imperfections; a viewer felt holding the sword with left hand indicated error; see story), reader Matthew Tsakanikas says,

“The article on a demon in AI artwork? Not so fast. The angel of the Third Secret of Fatima holds the flaming sword in his left hand and demands mankind give penance to God with his right hand. It wouldn’t be wrong for Saint Michael to keep a sword in his left hand.”
