From Forums of the Virgin Mary:
The role it will play in the End Times Warning.
The reason why Jesus wanted to cement devotion to Divine Mercy becomes more and more clear as we approach the most central events of purification in the world.
It is related to the warning, the enlightenment of consciousness, which will hit the world within our window of time.
Because today we are in such a general apostasy that it prevents distant men from repentance.
Which leads many to fall into despair like Judas, who did not conceive the absolute mercy of God and return to the path of good, after his betrayal.
Here we will talk about how the diffusion of Divine Mercy is a central link that will lead to the warning or enlightenment of consciousness, how this devotion arose and how to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy correctly.
The revelation of Divine Mercy and its key prayer, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, is the preparation that the Lord has given to the world, for the greatest event of mercy that there will be in history, after the incarnation of Jesus; we refer to the Warning that God will make to humanity.
The Warning will be an illumination of the conscience, a gift of the Divine Mercy of God.
Where everyone will know that God exists and will know the state of his soul as God sees it, his sins and will be called to repentance by God himself.
It will be a moment like no other in history, nor will there be.
And Jesus has prepared the way and the door so that everyone can enter his mercy through the revelations to Saint Faustina, because he does not want to lose any soul.
With his words Jesus says to each one of us, “Do not fear, even when your sins are terrible, repent and do not doubt, never doubt my compassion.”
This is the sign for the end times, later the day of His Justice will come, but while there is time, that men go to the source of His Mercy, he told Saint Faustina.
Saint Mary Faustina Kowalska of the Blessed Sacrament was born in Poland in 1905 and died on October 5, 1938, after being chosen by Jesus and Mary to become the “Apostle of Divine Mercy.”
She was canonized on April 30, 2000.
She did not plan to become a nun, but at 19, while attending a dance with her sister, she had a vision of a suffering Jesus, who asked her, “How long am I going to put up with you? And how long will you keep putting me off? “
But the first appearance of Divine Mercy occurred on the night of Sunday, February 22, 1931 , while she was in her convent cell in Plock, Poland, after recovering from tuberculosis.
Jesus appeared wearing a white robe.
He had one hand raised in a blessing gesture.
And with the other hand, she touched her dress, which was slightly open at the chest.
And two long rays of light were shining on him.
There Jesus asks him to paint that image and bless it on the first Sunday after Easter, which today is known as the Feast of Divine Mercy.
The two rays mean Blood and Water.
The pale ray represents Water, which justifies souls.
The red ray symbolizes the Blood, which is the life of souls.
This revelation is a continuation of the divine mercy that Jesus offers us on the cross and that was also revealed to Saint Margaret Mary of Alacoque in 1675 in France.
Jesus would also say to Sister Faustina,
«I send you to all humanity with My Mercy. I do not want to punish suffering humanity, but I want to heal it, to embrace My Merciful Heart ».
Throughout the apparitions Jesus ordered Sister Faustina to write a Diary about the unfathomable mercy that Jesus has for people, who knows no limits.
He asked him to paint an image of himself, as he saw it, which would be called Merciful Jesus, with the motto Jesus I trust in you.
And then he dictated the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
The revelation of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy came first to him through an angel executing the justice of God.
He was dressed in a shimmering robe, his face gloriously illuminated, and a cloud under his feet.
In his hands he held thunder and lightning.
When she saw the signs of divine wrath, with which a certain country would be punished, she implored the Angel, but immediately noticed that her prayers were powerless against the wrath of God.
At the same moment he saw the Holy Trinity, radiating an incomparable majesty and holiness.
And inwardly he heard some words, with which he began to fervently implore for the salvation of the world.
And from this prayer the Angel was powerless and could not carry out the punishment.
Without knowing it, Sister Faustina was praying part of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
Then Jesus would tell him that everything will be obtained through the crown, if what is asked is compatible with His will.
I would tell you that humanity will not have peace until it confidently turns to His Mercy.
That all humanity must recognize His unfathomable mercy, which is a sign of the end of time and that afterwards the day of justice will come.
For he who refuses to go through the door of His mercy must go through the door of His justice.
It is a message basically for the world that has sunk into sin, it is for sinners.
Because I would tell Saint Faustina that the greater the misery of a soul, the greater its right to the Mercy of the Lord.
And that all souls must be exhorted to trust in the unfathomable abyss of His mercy, because He wants to save them all.
Then, on Friday, September 13, 1935, the Lord formally revealed to Saint Faustina the Chaplet of Divine Mercy,
He told her that she should pray it on her ordinary rosary as follows:
«At the beginning you will pray an Our Father, a Hail Mary and the Creed.
Then you will pray on the large beads:
Eternal Father, I offer You the body, blood, soul and divinity of Your Beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in propitiation of our sins and those of the whole world.
On the small beads: For His painful passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
At the end you will pray three times: Holy God, Holy Strong, Holy Immortal, have Mercy on us and on the whole world ».
He also told her that the Hour of Mercy is at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, the time Jesus died on the Cross.
Told him,
«This is the hour of great mercy for the whole world. I will allow you to enter into My mortal sadness.
In this hour, I will not refuse anything to the soul that asks Me for the merits of My Passion ».
And from there, the mission of Saint Faustina was to spread her diary, the image of Jesus of Mercy, and promote the recitation of the Chaplet that was dictated to her.
And he gave him a message that today we can interpret in the light of what will happen at the time of the warning to each person, when the conscience enlightenment.
Told him,
“When a soul sees and knows the gravity of its sins, when the whole abyss of misery into which it has fallen is discovered in the eyes of its soul, do not despair, but throw yourself confidently into the arms of My Mercy” .
So what is our mission regarding Divine Mercy?
First pray the Chaplet daily to ask for the conversion of sinners and the Mercy of God for humanity.
And second, to spread Divine Mercy.
So that when those far away have the enlightenment of conscience, they remember the message that they should not despair but trust in the immense Mercy of God.
They should know that God forgives all sins if they confidently surrender to Him.
God knows that the majority will not be converted until then, indeed, they will not want to hear from God, or from conversion, or from prayer.
But from so much repeating and promoting the message, it must reach their ears that God’s mercy is infinite , and that when they are faced with seeing their soul as God sees it, in the warning, they should not despair, because God forgives everything if they trust in Him and surrender.
So far we wanted to talk about the role that Divine Mercy devotion plays in the events of the End Times.
That it is that sinners know that it exists, although they are not interested in using it for now, that the faithful ask forgiveness and mercy for their sins, and that the prayerful request of compassion for the world rises to heaven.
