“Church bells that have rung every hour for 200 years silenced after noise complaint.”
There it was, right in front, smack in the face, in the U.K. Mirror.
“A killjoy council has silenced a church bell which sounded every hour for more than 200 years after one complaint about noise.
“Beith Parish Church in Ayrshire won’t gong around the clock anymore as the resident said their sleep had been disturbed. Now, Church of Scotland has stopped the bell between 11pm and 7am.”
That’s just the surficial stuff.
Behind the scenes, social media and search-engine giants are doing strange things greatly limiting — in some cases silencing — Christian organizations.
We saw a Facebook account with thousands suddenly locked up — “disabled” with no explanation and no immediate recourse: shut down by artificial intelligence that is swiftly taking over the scene. (Those who may have used our Facebook page — never a mainstay, but a significant vehicle — stay tuned: we all in ministry appreciate the prayers).
Another operation now run almost completely by robots — a publisher — sends the wrong book and has no immediate phone support, despite the size of the company.
The same for an online advertising outlet known not to be overly friendly when it comes to those who believe.
The list is great in length and becoming longer and is sweeping around the world and to all corners like covid — which, despite biological appearance, may also factor in the evil one.
No one and nothing is more susceptible to manipulation than “intelligent” electronic technology.
Easily possessed, is this, for Satan fell as a bolt of electricity and is “prince of the power of the air,” and is ascending ever higher — making those who do his bidding all the richer — in the hierarchy of high-tech.
Let us pray: Lord Jesus, please intervene in a direct fashion with all who are oppressed by any dark forces manipulating technology. Come oh Jesus to the rescue of those who fight by your side, and against all odds and all inhuman forces — mechanical and spiritual — grant swift victory to the purveyors of God’s message. Amen.
We appreciate your prayers!
Good steward of technology, pray for us
