Read your story about head transplant in China with great interest. Several years ago I was in contact with Dr. Robert White, a neurosurgeon at Case Western Reserve Medical Center, who was doing research on brain transplants. He had progressed to the point where he could do a successful transplant of a monkey brain to another body. The monkey lived but could not run around and eat bananas. He believed that the technology would exist in the near future to perform a successful transfer on humans, and he said the biggest issue would then be ethical considerations, and he formed a panel to look into the ethical issues. He was concerned about psychological issues (black brain transplanted into white body: male brain transferred to a female body; one very distinct body type – very tall or large such as a basketball or football player – transplanted into a very different body type), and criminal abuse – transplanting a criminal’s brain into a non-criminal’s body and thereby erase all physical means of identifying the criminal. He was also concerned about the issue of transplanting the brain of an elderly brilliant person into a young body to preserve the genius and the productivity of that genius (think Einstein brain into a young body when Einstein was still alive but very old).

I had just read your post about the Dragon float that caught on fire at Disney in Orlando, FL, and a short time after I was reading the messages of Our Lady of America to Sister Neuzil and read this vision that Sister had on Nov. 22, 1957:
Later in the same day while reading the booklet,
“Our Lady was standing on a globe, Her right foot resting on a crescent or quarter moon, the left on the snout of a rather small and very ugly looking dragon. I saw fire come out of his huge jaws…”
I do not think this was a coincidence!
God bless you.

Also from Saint Faustina’s diary:
Tell sinners that no one shall escape My Hand; if they run away from My Merciful Heart, they will fall into My Just Hands. Tell sinners that I am always waiting for them, that I listen intently to the beating of their heart…when will it beat for Me? … I am speaking to them through their remorse of conscience, through their failures and sufferings, through thunderstorms, through the voice of the Church. And if they bring all my graces to naught, I begin to be angry with them, leaving them alone and giving them what they want.” (Diary 1728)

Fr. Joe Whalen’s grave, St.Francis Xavier Church Winooski, VT. In death as in life he always had a prayer basket of people to pray and intercede for. Many pilgrimage to his grave to ask for prayers. In WWll he served as 1st class Pharmacist mate on a submarine chaser (aka the “Splinter Fleet”) they were undetectable wooden hulled ships that dropped bombs on German submarines in the Mediterranean and laid smoke screens for the gun boats. Right next to him is another wonderful priest, Fr. Jean Paul LaPlante, “Juice” he was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association and for 28 years served as a Captain and Chaplain for the Vermont Civil Air Patrol. Two powerful intercessors for all of us!
