Many are the discernments (and tightropes) of life.
There are sheep. Their sound?
Bahh.
There are goats. Their sound?
Bahh.
By mere listening, it is tough to tell the difference.
One, the picture of docility.
The other has horns (though they’re not always visible).
Big difference between them.
Big difference between many things that seem the same or similar, that sound the same.
Many are the “thin lines.”
Life is a tightrope.
Our balance comes from Jesus.
Only His closeness leads us over otherwise treacherous terrain.
Up close and personal.
We have to be direct with Jesus. We have to work always at having Him close, alongside, inside, not way out in the universe.
As one woman who receives “words of knowledge” has Him saying:
“Rest in My radiant Presence. The world around you seems to spin faster and faster, till everything is a blur. Yet there is a cushion of calm at the center of your life, where you live in union with Me.
“Return to this soothing center as often as you can, for this is where you are energized: filled with My Love, Joy, and Peace.
“The world is a needy place; do not go there for sustenance. Instead, come to Me. Learn to depend on Me alone, and your weakness will become saturated with My Power. When you find your completeness in Me, you can help other people without using them to meet your own needs.
“Live in the Light of My Presence, and your light will shine brightly into the light of others.
“Be still in the light of My Presence, while I communicate love to you. There is no force in the universe as powerful as My Love. You are constantly aware of limitations: your own and others’. But there is no limit to My Love; it fills all space, time, and eternity.”
