From Forums of the Virgin Mary [translated]:
God does not want any of his children to be lost, even if they have done the most heinous things, knowingly, for a long time and without repentance.
And He gives them their last chance, before they appear before Him in the private judgment after death.
We do not have precise information on how this happens.
But we have the testimony of an Italian mystic and her spiritual guide, a Monsignor, about how God gave Yosef (Joseph) Stalin, the notorious Soviet leader, whose actions led to millions of deaths (especially in Ukraine), the last opportunity for conversion.
Here we will talk about how the Italian mystic Maria Teresa Carloni intervened so that God would give Stalin the last chance, and what would have been the result of this offer to the Soviet dictator.
Stalin was General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union from 1922 to 1952.
And the number of people over whom he ruled, and the suffering that he later caused during the cold war, to the rest of the world, make him a candidate for the podium of the genocides.
The direct genocide produced by him has been estimated at more than 36 million people, although Alexander Solzhenitsyn, in his famous book Gulag Archipelago, puts the figure at 66.7 million victims of the Soviet regime between the rise of Communism (under Vladimir Lenin) 1917, and 1959. (Stalin, who succeeded Lenin, died on March 5, 1953.)
The famine caused in the Ukrainian people alone, known as the Holodomor genocide, between 1932 and 1933, is estimated between 7 to 10 million people.
This successor of Lenin carried out purges of his own compatriots that make us shudder.
And he established a horrific regime of terror that reached his own family.
Although the great Communist-Russian masses adored him as a god, none of those around him was oblivious to the terror he inspired and his constant purges.
His own daughter Svetlana, who would later become a Catholic, said of him:
“My father was possessed by a terrible demon. He considered kindness and mercy worse than a great crime.
And let us remember that Stalin had been a seminarian in his youth and knew the Bible and Christianity well!
But the exorcists Gabriele Amorth and Antonio Fortea thought that both the Führer and Stalin were possessed by the devil, although they also claimed that it was not a possession from which an exorcism could easily rid them of the spirits.
In most possessions, the evil one takes over the body of the victim, but cannot touch his soul or his conscience. And in many cases the person can even go to Confession and take Communion, since his soul is free from guilt as far as his free will is concerned.
However, these two evil political leaders did not act as victims of possession, but instead seemed very willing to make the devil’s evil their own.
Their free will was not violated by Satan, and why would he: they carried out the murderous acts using their free will, and they took pleasure in doing so. This willing collaboration with the devil is called “perfect possession.”
But God wants to save everyone and always gives them one last chance even if they have committed the most heinous sins.
And he did it with Josef Stalin through the venerable Maria Teresa Carloni, an Italian mystic whose cause for beatification is open.
She is little known in the West because her great activity was carried out behind the iron curtain, bilocating to help persecuted bishops and priests, bringing information to successive popes, from Pius XII to John Paul II, about what she saw in those bilocations, and assuming the suffering of bishops and priests in her body, so that they could continue the mission.
She had been born into a rich, aristocratic, and Catholic family, but she met some priests and nuns who did not lead an edifying life and she left the Church.
She studied nursing and during the second world war worked as a nurse for the Sovereign Order of Malta in Rome; the army awarded her the Silver Medal for Valor.
And helping the wounded in a bombardment of Rome, she worked side by side with a priest dressed in white; she did not recognize him; it was Pius XII.
But the Pope would recognize her later on in a visit to a hospital for the wounded, and the conversation held there awakened religiosity in her again.
When she was 32 years old her grandmother was dying and so Maria made an appointment with the parish priest of the Church of San Francisco in Urbino, a Father Cristóforo Campana, who would later become Monsignor; he confessed her and agreed to be her spiritual director; Maria returned to the Church.
And in a quarantine due to an epidemic, she felt a voice that spoke to her, which she later identified as Jesus.
She told Father Campana, who advised her not to pay attention to the voice; as it continued, however, Father Campana began to study the mystic and asked to be close as she heard that voice.
When Father Campana was present during the messages, María Teresa told her what the voice was saying, though she herself would not remember what was said [scroll past ad for more].
And one Friday Jesus spoke to Campana through Maria Teresa and told her, “I want to repeat my Passion in this creature. You, being her spiritual father, can accept or reject this happening, because you are the authority that represents Me, but you must know that this is My will.”
Campana asked María Teresa if she agreed. She said yes and the priest then gave permission for her to receive the stigmata of Jesus. He announced that it would be the next Friday and she did receive the pain of the Passion in the priest’s presence.
He cried on his knees because of the pain of the stigmatized woman.
And later Jesus would ask Campana for permission to join the sufferings of Christ, for the conversion of sinners; Maria Teresa accepted and Father Campana gave permission.
And in 1953 Stalin was sick.
One Friday, when Maria Teresa was suffering the Passion of Jesus in her body, Jesus informed Father Campana of the death of Ivana Pushkin.
That she was the great-granddaughter of Alexander Pushkin, considered the father of contemporary Russian literature.
She was a Catholic and actively involved in the Church’s underground movement.
And he had offered himself as a victim for the salvation of Russia, but he had deliberately excluded the salvation of Stalin, because of the horrendous crimes he had committed.
And then Jesus asked Father Campana to ask Maria Teresa if she wanted to take the place of this victim for the salvation of Russia and the other countries governed by the doctrine of atheistic materialism.
And Maria Teresa replied:
“If the Lord wants it and gives me the necessary strength, I accept.”
And with this acceptance increased their spiritual and physical sufferings, and also the demonic attacks.
And in early March 1953, Stalin was dying.
The following Friday, Jesus told Father Campana,
“Now, I am going to ask you something, if you allow me and this creature agrees.
Before Stalin dies, I want to give him the chance to save himself, as I do with all redeemed souls, despite his crimes.
If you two agree, I ask you to offer these three hours for the soul of Stalin.
But do not be alarmed by the sufferings that this creature will suffer.”
Maria Teresa accepted this and suffered terribly for three hours.
Father Campana, who was with her, did not stop crying and saying “Enough.”
And after three hours, everything was back to normal.
Maria Teresa never knew what the result of the suffering she endured for the conversion of Stalin was. But it seems that Stalin did not benefit from the Grace that Jesus offered him at the time of his death — because Blessed Elena Aiello [for our discernment only], another Italian mystic, was granted a vision of hell in which she saw the soul of Stalin and a place for his followers.
This if true confirms the opinion of the exorcists Amorth and Fortea that Stalin had willingly accepted the company of the devil.
After Stalin’s death, the persecution of the Church in Communist countries continued, Maria Teresa’s sufferings increased, and new mystical phenomena began.
Maria Teresa bilocated to assist and comfort priests and bishops who were in the resistance against the Soviet Union and conveyed this information to the Popes, who in turn asked her, as special missions, to take messages to this or that bishop. And she would take on their suffering, so that they could continue their missions.
In short, God always gives everyone one last chance to save themselves, even if they have committed terrible sins.
He asked the mystic Maria Teresa Carloni if she was willing to suffer for the conversion of Josef Stalin and she accepted.
But apparently, Stalin did not accept the offer of Jesus Christ, making use of his free will.
For, to repeat, the mystic Elena Aiello would be shown that he was in hell, confirming, if true, what famous exorcists said: that Stalin was willingly possessed by the devil.
Well up to here what we wanted to talk about the last opportunity that God gave Stalin for his salvation and what would have been the result…
