Mailbag: A Miracle In Nigeria

“Hello and God bless you, friends in Christ.

“I sent this same story out to everyone in my prayer group, and am sending a more detailed email account to you about this beautiful story. Please share this beautiful story. +

“When I was in Medjugorje with the group in 2021, a priest by the name of Father Richards Shuaibu (from Nigeria), was also with my group. He was first at the National Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge Massachusetts and then flew over to join my pilgrimage. People in the group said that whenever they were with Father Richards, they could smell roses around him.+

“It was rumored by people close to Father Richards that he receives messages from Our Lord and Our Lady.

“Now, let me back up a second. Father Richards called me out of the blue on Tuesday (November 1st), saying he was back at the National Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge.  He then asked me, ‘How are your knees?’ I had said nothing to him about my knees and told him that in November of last year, they had to replace my left knee and on Monday (November 7th), they are doing a full knee replacement on my right knee. +

After the pilgrimage in 2021, Fr. Richards went back to Nigeria, and just after his arrival there, the terrorist group Boko Haram took six priests hostage and took them into the jungle.

“Father Richards’ bishop asked Father Richards to go into the jungle with the ransom money, meet with the terrorists, and have the six priests released. 
+
Father Richards accepted the challenge and went into the jungle. He then told me, “Do you know what gave me the strength to go into the jungle? It was climbing Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain [in Medjugorje] that gave me strength.” Then Father Richards told me about the rosary I gave him [blessed during an apparition with the seer Marija Lunetti]; he carried that rosary in his hand the whole time he was walking in the jungle.

“Father met with the Boko Haram terrorists and spent about two days talking to them. There were eight gunmen (terrorists), and they all laid down their guns, and released the six priests and other hostages they were holding, and the gunmen walked out of the jungle with Father Richards and the hostages.

“The eight gunmen have now joined Fr. Richards Parish Church in Nigeria!

“Father Richards said that one of the gunmen had been looking at the rosary he was holding in his hand, and asked Father Richards if he could have it. 
+
“Father Richards told him he could, and when the gunmen reached for it, Father Richards said the terrorist received an ‘electric shock’ and Father Richards knew he was to keep this rosary for himself and the gunmen was to get another rosary. 
+
“Father Richards said he is leaving on November 16th to go back to Nigeria, so I mailed him yesterday, 150 Rosaries that were Blessed by Our Lady that I took to Marija’s Apparition and he should get them before he has to go back to Nigeria.

“Please share this most beautiful story with Marija, and the story of the rosary Father Richards was carrying in his hand in the jungle.  Please let Marija know what is happening with these Rosaries that I have been bringing back, and I am so very grateful for being allowed to attend an Apparition with her.  God bless you my dear sister in Christ, to you and all of your loved ones, Arrow.”
