It’s a tricky balance.
On the one hand, Scripture says (Matthew 12:39): “An evil and adulterous generation craves for a sign; and yet no sign will be given to it but the sign of Jonah the prophet.” That was Jesus speaking!
But also, He said (Matthew 16:3): “‘There will be a storm today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Do you know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but cannot discern the signs of the times?”
So: we are to look for indications?
It was one of the most famous visionaries in history, Sister Lucia dos Santos of Fàtima, who said the “great sign” (yes, that was the term Mary used) prophesied in the three secrets turned out to be a spectacular display of the northern lights (colors in the sky, especially red), in late January of 1938—the “great sign” presaging what she said would be a second world war.
And just that began a month later, when Adolf Hitler marched into Vienna.
So now the query:
Might recent and likewise unusual displays of the aurora be a sign of something similar in the future, something that, like the march into Vienna, will gradually lead to a third world war?
Right now, note well that Western Europe is readying for precisely such a possibility, in the event dominoes begin to fall in the wake of the Russian attack on Ukraine. Russia figured prominently in the Fàtima predictions, and Ukraine has been the center of recent alleged Marian appearances. Prophecies from there have warned of fire and warfare. And unnerving was the assassination attempt on the leader of Slovakia during those recent auroras.
While the attempt of assassination (of President Robert Fico, a Putin ally) appears to have been a “lone wolf,” one recalls that it was the killing of Archduke Ferdinand, leader of Austro-Hungary, and his wife Sophie in Sarjevo (by a Serb) that triggered the first world war (which was also mentioned in the Fàtima messages).
Now we have the auroras again, and again they are sending down sheets of red-like curtains of fire.
They have not been as disruptive as those in 1938-1939—not nearly (they took out radio communication)–but they may have been observed every bit as widely and spectacularly, caused by the greatest solar flare in two decades (since one in the wake of September 11), a display that, to our eyes (as we said back then), had looked a bit like an angel.
More recently, a flare was photographed by NASA that with a tad of imagination resembled an angel with: a trumpet.
Stay tuned….
