Pope Francis has broken his silence on George Pell’s failed bid to overturn his child sex abuse convictions.
The head of the Catholic Church took to social media to share a cryptic tweet in the hours after the Victorian Supreme Court turned down the 78-year-old’s appeal on Wednesday. ‘It takes more strength to repair than to build, to start anew than to begin, to be reconciled than to get along. This is the strength that God gives us,’ Pope Francis wrote.
