Are you always in a hurry? Are you impatient for something to happen, something you’ve prayed about? Are you confused at what’s taking so long to happen — chomping at the bit, ready to force matters: take them into your own hands?
Don’t bother — don’t take anything out of God’s Hands. He has a perfect plan for you and perfect also is His timing.
Before becoming impatient, remember that when God moves, something can occur in a nanosecond that would take you months or years to accomplish, if you can do it at all.
That’s because He is timeless; He operates in the past, present, and future at the same time. And when you’re waiting on Him, He is testing you; He is developing your character, which is what you take to Heaven.
So don’t push it. When you do, it never turns out as well as it does when He is behind it. Let Him bake the cake!
God is never in a hurry, but also, He is never late. He swoops in at the exact right second, when it’s according to what He has laid out for you. Otherwise you’re butting your head against a wall; you’re fretting; you are frustrated (and wasting time).
Every second of worry is a complete waste of time because it accomplishes exactly nothing.
The Bible tells us that in Psalms 37:8: “Do not fret–it leads only to evil.”
“Fear not” is a coupling of words that can be found in certain translations of the Bible 365 times.
That’s once for every day of the year — and so, every day, tell yourself to not to fret. To fret not. There is a right appointed time for everything.
God may put a dream in your heart and when He does, it will occur. Don’t give up on it just because it isn’t materializing according to your time-table. Just wait. Let go, trusting in Him, placing the timing in His Hands.
If God (and not your own ego) gave you the dream, it will happen.
Just wait; it won’t be late. It will come at just the right moment.
Be blessed instead of stressed.
Rest in Him, this summer.
And exercise humility. “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time,” says 1 Peter 5:6. Lessen stress and rise to success.
Stress dwindles and eventually vanishes when you say, “Okay, God. I’m giving all the timing to you. I’ve let you know what I need. I’ve told You what I’d like. Now it’s in your perfect timing.” Look at Habakkuk 2:3: “For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay.”
Don’t give up and at the same time don’t be impatient. You don’t need the key to life when you know the Person Who has all the keys to your life and eternity.
Surrender your harried schedule to Him. Give Him every day. If you have too much to do, you need to let the Lord sort it out for you. He’ll lead you to doing what you really need to do and not all the other things that you don’t need to — that are superfluous, not in His Plan, things that clog your life or that you trip over.
Trusting God’s timing is a great stress reliever.
His timing is not always convenient or painless, but it is perfect.
In His timing, things are bigger and better. At the right time, He can do anything. Remember this when you’re in His “waiting room” (where the testing takes place).
Delay is not denial.
In the Bible you’ll find the phrase “at the right time” 96 times.
Don’t look at what others have or what they are doing or have been given and wonder why you have not been given the same thing yet. That’s what cause much anxiety! That’s what causes depression and anger. Fear not. Fret not. Forget not. Remember the simple truth, to repeat, that God is never in a hurry and is never late.
He has a timetable — a perfect one — for everything about you, and when you accept His Plan, all your needs are resolved; all your right dreams are realized (in the way He has planned for them to be realized from the beginning of time itself).
