Walter Tevis wrote a book called “The Man Who Fell to Earth” about a man who flew from Mars and crash landed on Earth. The man from Mars invented a number of things which made him an industrialists billionaire overnight in a wide range of industries. He used the money to build a spaceship to fly back to Mars.
That book was made into a movie, starring David Bowie. David Bowie then created an opera around a character called Ziggy Stardust and released an album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. That recording was played on Elon Musk’s Tesla motorcar during the launch of that Motorcar on the first Falcon Heavy launch. The rocket was aimed at Mars.
