Ephesians 5: 11-13 says, “Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.”
In that spirit we ask today we look at two current items in the news and ask: is it just “synchronicity,” which means meaningful coincidence (as in simply “luck” and happenstance), or are there spiritual constructs at play?
Item one: The person who have Epstein his first real job, as a mathematics teacher at a private and prestigious Manhattan high school, was Donald Barr, headmaster of Dalton High on East 89th Street and a convert to Catholicism from Judaism.
The “happenstance”? Barr had been in the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) during World War II, which later morphed into the C.I.A. and branches of military intelligence.
Many claim Epstein had intelligence connections, and find it peculiar that he was hired despite dropping out of college. (Barr was known to hire unusual teachers, people outside of the fold, which may explain it).
Donald Barr’s son is William Barr, who describes himself as “more Catholic than Catholics” and was U.S. attorney general in the first Trump Administration and ironically (that’s another word for it, “irony”) when Epstein died in a Manhattan prison.
It was Barr who, after an initial inquiry, declared it a suicide.
Fate works in strange patterns and often dovetails.
Another case in point, another coincidence, is the JonBenét Ramsey case. That of course was the young girl and fashion-show star who was found dead (by garrote) the night after Christmas in 1996 in Boulder, Colorado.
The killer or killers have never been found (the parents were long held under suspicion, though there was no evidence of involvement), but garroting is a strange way for a girl to die and is now also allegedly how two young foreign women died at Epstein’s ranch near Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Epstein often went to Aspen (the skiing hotspot in Colorado), but it is his consort, Ghislaine Maxwell, who is of most interest when it comes to synchronicity.
This is a photo taken at JonBenét’s last fashion show; does anyone look familiar?
There is certainly a resemblance to Maxwell, but it can be argued that there is a resemblance to many women, and Ghislaine was certainly not known to have been at the fashion show (though she and Epstein were big on the modeling circuit and Maxwell is now serving time for trafficking youngsters).
Another coincidence here: Ghislaine Maxwell had the same law firm, Denver-based Haddon, Morgan and Forema, that JonBenét’s father John did (though at different times).
Darkness only disappears when it is brought to light.
In this regard, a most unpleasant topic: the trafficking of children across our borders, now the focus of intense attention due to the expanding Jeffrey Epstein saga.
When it comes to exposing evil, kudos to all those who have spent years trying to bring the trafficking of poor youngsters to light, including actor Jim Caviezel, he of the movie The Sound of Freedom (and a man who has been to and been greatly affected by Medjugorje).
Caviezel and other assert that as many as 300,000 youngsters have crossed the U.S. border with Mexico and have disappeared.
Most are located. But as a report in the Center for Public Integrity says, “The numbers for migrant children are grim. Less than one percent of the 3,340 migrant children reported missing to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services between October 2019 and April 2023 have been found.
Says the U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement office, “In the past four years, the United States saw a record surge in the number of unaccompanied alien children crossing its southern border. In many cases, these vulnerable children were released to sponsors in the United States without proper vetting — some of the sponsors had paid smugglers to bring the children into the country or fraudulently claimed familial relationships. As a result, these children were subjected to physical abuse and sexual and labor exploitation.”
This feeds into the narrative of a vast network not just of those using underage labor but of pedophiles and perhaps even satanic ritualists who from Hollywood to New York and points in-between shed young blood.
“But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.”
Oh, what light needs to shine.
We’re not sure about that 300,000 figure. Many children are later found, some belonging to illegal immigrants. Official watchdog reports do not say that all of these children “disappear.” They mainly say the government has had trouble tracking some of them after release to sponsors.
The cleanest answer: Roughly 100,000 to 130,000 unaccompanied minors a year were being referred to federal custody in the main recent surge years, not counting children who came with a parent. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services reported 119,123 in 2023.
But that’s a lot and if only a small percentage are never tracked, that’s still a tragic and deplorable situation.
It is a known fact that children can be purchased in some Latin America, Africa, and India for as little as $120.
Beyond despicable. Evil beyond evil.
One evangelical Christian has personally rescued 26,000 of them—and over the course of the last twenty-five years, educated them in facilities he has established.
That’s what is known as a true Christian hero.
It’s also known as shining Christ’s light through (praise God) goodness, righteousness, and truth, which makes evil visible and brings correction.
