In 2 Thessalonians 2:11, the Bible states that God will send a “strong delusion” (or “deluding influence”) upon those who reject the truth and take pleasure in unrighteousness, causing them to believe a lie.

This act is part of end-times judgment, where individuals are condemned for refusing the Gospel.

We bring this up because of “buzz” that the long-promised and hotly anticipated “great disclosure” concerning life on other planets—”aliens,” “extraterrestrials”—is about to occur.

To wit, items from the Christian Post and London Daily Mail this week.

First the latter: “Influential pastors are claiming that they have been told to prepare their followers for shocking revelations about UFOs which may upend belief in the Bible. Perry Stone, a well-known evangelist, author and Bible teacher from Tennessee, warned that fellow pastors were recently invited to a secret meeting with US intelligence officials to prepare for the release of secret files on extraterrestrials.

“According to Stone, the officials warned a small group of pastors with a large reach in the Christian community that the government was about to release reports and possibly videos of aliens and spacecraft which were not from this planet.”

This, of course, is according to Stone, who has been the subject of some past controversies. But it is also according to the President of the United States, Donald Trump, who has repeatedly promised “disclosure,” saying it will include some “very interesting things.”

Trump says he’s still not sure about it, that it’s “complicated.”

Bet on that.

Former President Barack Obama also has commented recently, as in the past have presidents Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter, and Bill Clinton. Vice President J.D. Vance said in March: “I don’t think they’re aliens. I think they’re demons.” He previously declared himself a “UFO lunatic” and was committed to “get to the bottom” of answering whether aliens exist or not.

“Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna of Florida has repeatedly urged the public to read the Book of Enoch, an ancient Jewish religious text, written in stages between 300 and 100 B.C.,” noted the Mail.

Is it all demonic—as warned about for now twenty-six years on this website, and by an increasing number of Christians, including ranking ones in the Department of Defense? Or are there in fact other planets with life that’s far advanced?

Let us caution again that even physicality—material or biological evidence—does not negate the strong possibility that “aliens” are devils. Angels can take physical form, and so can fallen ones. Did not fallen angels even mate—interbreed—with female humans in the time of Noah (Genesis 6:1-4)?

So it is that, while not dismissing the phenomena, we long have raised red flags.

“I’m not going to go into great detail, but there were a large number of pastors that had been invited to go to a certain state to hear some men in the United States government and others share with them a concern that they had,” said Stone, who did not identify his source in an April 27 YouTube video, but claimed the person has “a great church.” He claims his friend told him that some of those in the meeting “were telling us as pastors, ‘You need to prepare your people, and you need to get ready to answer them for what you’re about to hear being released.’”

Will Catholics—whose media and dioceses, in the main, are poorly read on this subject and thus knee-jerk skeptical (when in fact there may be actual phenomena, albeit deceptive)—be likewise prepared, if indeed there is the need for any sort of preparation?

To repeat, again and once more: great caution is in order in a realm where “aliens” constantly appear and reappear, move through walls, follow generational lines, frequent burial sites, present as “orbs” above places of ritual, sometimes are associated with the smell of sulfur, and in many cases are described as “reptilians.”

Ah, yes, reptilian: dragon-like. Related to serpents.

Keep all in prayer. Let no one declare that aliens created the human race. That extraterrestrials from Zeta Reticuli are the true gods.

This would be the Great Deception. And many Christians, blinded by current materialism, along with occultism, would be prone to it.

Hold fast to the Bible. Let no one and nothing, however spectacular and evidentiary on the surface, declaim it.

To quote it once more:

“Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.”
