Humility draws the help of Heaven

‘Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much’ (James 5:16)

Breathe in the Holy Spirit. Get strong. Surround yourself with the saints. Seek nutrition. Go to Saint Raphael. Ask for special healing angels.

If God does not heal, take the pain, embrace it with love, and work your way into a higher eternal place with it. When we suffer well all is well — although first we should seek His aid and cast darkness out, in case darkness is at the root.

When you are at the end of your rope, let God take the “rope” and throw you a life preserver with it.

Dizziness. Vertigo. Banish these. Headaches. Pains in the joints. Diabetes.

Even at death’s door, a Hand will come down to you.

With fasting and prayer, you can get out of situations that have “no exit.”

In the wreckage of one car in a horrible accident (but from which a young man miraculously survived, but should not have been able to escape) the letters “G-O-D” were formed by the twisted metal. His father sent a picture of it.

Maybe it’s just swollen feet. Claim a healing.

Says Jeremiah 29:11-13, “For I know the plans that I have for you, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope [declares the Lord]. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you and I will restore your fortunes.”

It’s when we stray from our missions in life that “speed bumps” or roadblocks are often sent and sometimes these may come in the form of ailments.

God is always there. In Ireland, a boy from Galway whose cancer had spread from his bones to his lungs and lymph nodes was free of cancer after a healing that began at Medjugorje. He had been under hospice care. He said he saw a statue of the Blessed Mother move. All the while his father had the impression of a large powerful Hand over the boy’s head.

The imagination perceives what the eyes cannot.

It’s when we let go and tell God it’s okay — whatever He wants, we are happy to go with Him — that He often acts. He acts in our surrender. He also acts when we offer ourselves. He acts in obedience (which is more powerful than sacrifice, 1 Samuel 15:22). Offer yourself to Him, completely. This is most powerful. Abandonment brings angels.

I read about a fellow who had a tumor in his chest the size of a grapefruit. After prayer, it disappeared. Very often it’s a combination of changes in lifestyle, medical intervention (chemotherapy may be crucial in some cases), and prayer. Days to live? Make that years. Years? Reject the evil report. Make that decades.

When the disease leaves, often so do faults of the spirit that led to the physical weakness. There is a “correction.” We’re purified. When they go, the “inherited” illness also is dismissed.

One woman whose grandmother died of a brain hemorrhage at age forty-one herself suffered a serious hemorrhage and said, “I had just completed teaching my weekly CCD class at our Catholic Church. Everything was wonderful! After class, I met with one of the other teachers and we had a brief discussion. It was joyful and pleasant. All of sudden I could not hear a word she was saying. Also, my hands and feet felt numb. I turned and ran to my car so I would be home with my beloved family before things got worse. Driving down the street towards my home, I thought the top of my head was going to explode! I could not continue driving so I had to pull into a driveway where a friend lived with her husband, who is a doctor. At that point, I collapsed and landed on the horn. My friend ran out with her husband and that is all I remember until many days later.”

Everyone she knew started praying and she recovered despite a “death sentence” pronounced by her doctor.

Hidden causes there are. No doctor can see them. Said a woman who was praying with her son (to deliver him from asthma), “The Lord then showed me that I needed to let go of this burden I was carrying for my son. He told me this was not my fight. This was my son’s battle against evil, and the Lord and his angels would fight it. I realized that my worrisome attitude had nearly turned into a state of depression and was not helping anything. Visually, I let go of the burden. I envisioned myself laying my son’s illness at the foot of the Cross.” Soon the boy was “101 percent” free of severe allergies (and “asthma”).
