You must be noticing this: Suddenly, spiritual warfare is in the mainstream.
When this website was started twenty-five years ago, hardly anyone talked about it, outside hardcore Christianity; not even Catholic news sites; one was considered odd–a bit eccentric, or superstitious–for mentioning something like “demons.”
Now it’s in the zeitgeist: part of the public conversation.
This especially has been true following the Charlie Kirk horror.
The former television anchor Megyn Kelly? She did a podcast that focused on a curse levied on Kirk by a clutch of witches hired by a malcontent on Etsy. As she (and we) pointed out, that was two days before the shooting. In fact–as Kelly also mentioned–Erika Kirk was so concerned when she heard about the hex that she and Charlie went to see a priest.
The controversial podcaster Candace Owens? She has converted to Catholicism and has no issue mentioning the demonic.
Meanwhile, in the September 28, 2025 episode titled “The TRUTH about spiritual warfare and the battle for America’s soul,” host Glenn Beck interviewed a Catholic YouTuber about it, wherein the current era was depicted as a “spiritual battle against darkness,” emphasizing demons and diabolical principalities as principal enemies rather than political foes and urging Christians to reclaim the concept of spiritual struggle.
“Going Rogue with Lara Logan”: Episode 27 (July 22, 2025) featured Hollywood stuntman Mike Smith discussing “spiritual warfare” in the entertainment industry, including encounters with human skulls, satanic daggers, and spell books in celebrities’ homes, which he now views as evidence of a deeper demonic influence. Broadcasters and podcasters—the endless array of those with a large boom microphone—seem suddenly “woke” in this different way.
Tucker Carlson?
He has repeatedly referenced “evil spiritual entities” and demons in 2025 interviews and episodes, describing global conflicts as battles against demonic forces rather than mere human politics.
This theme appears in multiple clips shared widely on X, including discussions from March through to Friday (October 3, 2025), when he had as a guest Conrad Flynn, a writer and filmmaker who spoke at length about the actual reality of evil entities, especially in Hollywood and now in Silicon Valley—where he says actual rituals have taken place and where techies who take drugs have reported identical or at least highly similar “revelations” while under the influence.
Carlson’s conversion came, it seems, after a personal encounter with demonic nocturnal entities.
Lee Strobel (author, Christian apologist) recently appeared on Carlson’s show and warned that mass media and entertainment may have demonic influences.
Karoline Leavitt (White House Press Secretary) claimed that during Trump’s 2025 campaign, he faced “evil forces” and that “spiritual warfare” was at play in the assassination attempt. Her boss has recently used terms like “satanic” (to describe political foes).
Podcaster, author, and former New York Post columnist Rod Dreher says A.I. is being used by some in California as sort of a “Ouija board.”
“Let me be clear,” he says. “I believe Ouija boards do nothing other than open a portal of contact with demons. I do not think that is true of A.I. I think it can be exactly what its creators say it is: a means of collecting information from the Internet. But I also believe, based on stories like this and claims made by tech bigs like Simone Planté and Tim Taylor, that in at least some instances, evil disincarnate intelligences use it to communicate with people. How can we know when that is happening, versus A.I. is just giving you information like you could get from an encyclopedia?
