Call It What You Will

March 17, 2026 by sd

Would you call this an angel?

Was this a man saved from being run over by a truck in Indonesia? (You can mute background music.)

We looked back at some purported supernatural videos from a few years ago, before A.I. made matters so difficult to discern.

This was in a Michigan driveway:

We respect your judgment, whatever.

With so-called “UFO” sightings are sometimes (allegedly) “men in black.” (Not so angelic-looking.)

You figure.

Sometimes, it’s just reflections, lens flares. Sometimes it feels more unusual than that.

Oh, miracles; sometimes best expressed in words and still images.

Healing? There was Sorino Yanomami, one of the more dramatic recent miraculous interventions.

Sorino Yanomami with Sister Florencia

On February 7, 1996, Sorino, a Yanomami man in the Brazilian Amazon, was reportedly attacked from behind by a jaguar while in the forest. Missionary accounts say the animal fractured his skull, leaving bone fragments and even exposed brain tissue, and that it took more than eight hours to get him to a hospital in Boa Vista, Roraima.

While he was being treated, Consolata missionaries say they prayed a novena and invoked the intercession of Blessed Giuseppe Allamano, founder of the Consolata Missionaries. The Vatican later recognized Sorino’s healing as the miracle needed for Allamano’s canonization, and Pope Francis approved that decree on May 23, 2024.

What makes the case so striking is the reported outcome: later Catholic accounts say Sorino recovered without the neurological damage doctors would normally expect from such a head injury, and decades later he was described as living a normal life, able to continue ordinary activities such as hunting and fishing.

The Vatican has accepted this case.

[Footnote: are demons also coming to light?
