Could artificial intelligence become “possessed” by spirits?
We’re asking this as a run-up to an article and eventually a “Special Report” on anti-christ. (You may want to check out the current one on seers and locutionists.)
At any rate, our answer: spirits including demons and angels have been well known through the decades to affect electronics, from the flickering of lights and strange phone calls to text messages during exorcisms.
Satan is a prince of electricity. He fell as a bolt of lightning (Luke 10:18).
He also is “prince of the power of the air” (Ephesians 2:2).
Demonic voices have been found on various kinds of electronic recordings, sometimes barely decipherable in the static, sometimes as plain as any other voice.
Many believe that electronic devices can capture voices of spirits or demons, a phenomenon known as Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP). This is what you see misguided “ghost-hunters” using in “haunted” homes.
Car batteries have gone dead and other electrical issues reported around those who seem to have a darkness about them. We’ve seen this happen with burglar alarm systems. Ditto for “psychics.”
Noted a woman named Pamela Christie, “I don’t know about ghosts, but certain people’s energies can make electronics go haywire. I had a friend who wasn’t allowed anywhere near the computer station at his job (back in the 80s) because his presence always caused things to short-circuit.”
What does A.I. itself have to say about it (when the question of whether ChatGPT, for example, can be possessed)?
