Since 1992, we have speculate (particularly in a book, The Final Hour) that major events in the secrets of Medjugorje will materialize between now and the 2040s.

This week: a tick a year closer to that possible deadline.

But only speculation it is, based on the ages of the seers, at least two of whom have indicated that the secrets will begin to unfold while they are alive.

The estimate was made based on longevity rates three decades ago.

Since they have birthdays between 1964 (oldest, Vicka Ivanković-Mijatović) and 1971 ( youngest, Jakov Čolo), and average longevity where they live (Hercegovina) is 78 (75 for men, 81 for women), that brings us, actually, to 2042 (based on average—not counting those who may live beyond norms).

We also have conjectured that events will unfold powerfully but perhaps more gradually than many expect, a series of happenings with certain startling “punctuations” or “high-point” events. Perhaps we already are on that curve.

One wonders, looking at Sister Lucia dos Santo’s “illumination,” in the 1940s, on the Fatima Third Secret, if events will include massive tectonic ones or even geomagnetic ones (i.e., pole reversal, which occurs periodically in long-term geological history, such that Antarctica (where there are remnants of past verdancy) would find itself near the Equator.
